The Elle TENS machine is a specialized version of a TENS (Transcutaneous Electrical Nerve Stimulation) device, designed to provide natural pain relief, especially lower back pain, during labor. The Elle TENS machine may also help you avoid medication or delay an epidural. 

 

This non-invasive device works by sending mild electrical pulses through electrode pads placed on your lower back, which stimulates your nerves to block pain signals. Your doula will guide you, and it’s easy to use. You control the intensity of the pulses, knowing that TENS is safe for you and your baby. 

 

Each Mama Bear doula is equipped with an Elle TENS machine and you have the opportunity to test it out during your in-person prenatal session.
