Birth and Postpartum Doula

Birth is one of life's most profound transitions—beautiful, powerful, and deeply transformative. You deserve to feel supported, informed, and cared for every step of the way.

My journey into birth work began when a close friend asked me to be her doula during labor. As the mother of two sons, I knew firsthand how meaningful it is to have a calm, compassionate presence by your side. Saying yes to her request opened the door to a calling that has become my life's work.

Today, I am a DONA-certified birth doula, honored to support families through pregnancy, birth, and the early postpartum period. My role is to walk alongside you with steady encouragement, practical support, and deep respect for your choices.

During labor, I offer continuous emotional and physical support through comfort measures such as massage, movement, positioning, breathing guidance, and reassurance. I also help you understand your options so you can make informed decisions that align with your values and birth preferences. Whether you're planning a hospital, birth center, or home birth, my goal is to
help you feel grounded, confident, and empowered.

Every birth unfolds in its own way. I honor your unique journey by offering evidence-based resources, thoughtful reflection, and a calming presence so you can trust your body, your instincts, and your baby's wisdom.

My support continues after your baby arrives. The early postpartum weeks are a time of healing, adjustment, and new beginnings. Whether you need nourishing meals, light household help, care for older siblings, newborn support, or simply someone to listen, I am here to help you feel cared for as you care for your baby.

Having raised my own children, who are now beginning lives of their own, I understand both the beauty and the demands of motherhood. I was sustained by a community of women who showed up for me, and it is now my privilege to offer that same compassionate support to families beginning this remarkable journey.

When I'm not supporting growing families, you'll likely find me tending my bees, working in the garden, reading a good book, or creating pottery in my local clay studio.

It would be an honor to walk alongside you as you welcome your baby into the world.
